Finance Department
The Finance Department is established to administer the fiscal operations of the Village. The Department's responsibilities include: purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury management, payroll administration, utility billing, sale of vehicle stickers and pet licenses, insurance administration, financial reporting, assisting police and fire pension fund boards, accounting and maintaining all financial records of the Village, representing the Village with the Northbrook Rural Fire Protection District, preparation of the annual Budget and Ten-Year Capital Improvement Plan, office supply services, and internal auditing of Village Financial control procedures.
