Community Communications

The Village of Northbrook utilizes a variety of tools to communicate with residents and businesses.

Emergency Notifications

The Village uses Northbrook Notify to send voice, text and/or email messages to businesses and residents during local emergencies. Northbrook Notify messages pertain to time-sensitive, common-interest issues such as emergency street closures, police activity, or tornado warnings. These messages supplement other communication modes and public safety/first responder services. Sign up for Northbrook Notify notifications here. The Village will not share any personal information.

In addition to Northbrook Notify, anyone can text 60062 to 888777 to sign-up for emergency text-only messages.

Non-Emergency Notifications

NotifyMe is a non-emergency notification service tailored to your interests and needs. Sign up here and select your preferred method of communication as well as topics of interest.
