On Thursday, June 25, the Village will hold a virtual open house for this project. Details of the open house can be found in the initial construction notice.

The Village recognizes that this project will impact a large number of residents living in the immediate area. This project involves supplementing the existing 42-inch storm sewer on Brittany Road by constructing approximately 375 feet of 48-inch storm sewer to drain the low area on the street to the 48-inch storm sewer outlet on Bordeaux Road. The inlets within the low area will connected to that new storm sewer and new inlets will added. Additionally, a downstream structure will be added to help control the flow of flood water.
As part of this work, the existing 450 feet of water main located on Brittany Road between Bordeaux and Dauphine will also be replaced.
On Tuesday, June 9, the Village Board approved Resolution 2020-78, which awarded the construction contract to Lenny Hoffman Excavating, Inc.
