During construction of the new storm sewer on Wendy Drive the Contractor encountered sewer lines in conflict with the new storm sewer. Unfortunately, the conflicting sewers could not be adjusted lower and out of the way as originally planned. While the project team was working hard to develop revised plans to resolve these issues, the Contractor had to stop work on the project. Late last week the project designer, working closely with Village Staff, developed a suitable solution to the conflicts. The Contractor has begun ordering new storm sewer structures that are needed to complete the work. These materials will take a week or two to be made and arrive on site. The Village fully expects to be able to resume the project early next month and complete the project. Thank you for your patience while we work through these issues.
