Village of Northbrook Cancels All Village Meetings and Events

The safety of the community is the top priority for the Village of Northbrook and remains so during the rapidly changing situation surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Out of an abundance of caution, the Village of Northbrook is canceling all Village Board and Commission meetings, effective immediately, through April 5. Based on recommendations of social distancing from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Illinois Department of Public Health, Village events are also canceled or postponed until further notice.

Village officials will reassess the cancellation of public meetings and rescheduling of events by April 5. Please note that Village Hall is open for regular hours and Village services are continuing.

As of right now, Early Voting and Election Day Voting are continuing at Village Hall as scheduled with increased cleaning protocols for voting equipment.

As of today, the following meetings and activities are canceled:

  • Village Board and Commission meetings
  • March 19 Coffee with a Cop
  • Electronics Recycling

The following events are postponed to a later date (to be determined):

  • Bike Boulevard Open House
  • Earth and Arbor Day Celebration
