Effective March 16 at 9pm, Governor Pritzker shut down dine-in operations for restaurants and bars statewide. We encourage the community to continue supporting local businesses and restaurants - click here for an interactive map or a list of restaurants offering delivery, drive-thru, carry out, and curbside pickup, compiled by the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce.
The Village of Northbrook is committed to helping local restaurants and has taken the following steps:
- Shopping center owners are allowed to designate non-accessible parking spots in their lots for food pickup.
- Downtown restaurants facing the street are allowed a designated parking spot each for curbside pickup and delivery operations.
The community can help local businesses and restaurants by ordering/shopping online, leaving generous tips, and staying in touch with businesses directly as situations change and develop.

Northbrook Grocery Stores
Grocery stores are experiencing an increase in business as the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation develops. We encourage you to shop local and be courteous to employees and other shoppers in this time of change, while practicing social distancing and hygiene. See below for a list of Northbrook grocery stores and their current hours of operation (subject to change). As a reminder, please do not hoard food or supplies, and do not buy more than you need out of panic.
