A Message from Village President Sandy Frum:
The coronavirus outbreak has not been easy on any of us – it is hard to change your routines and habits, and it is especially hard to be separated from your friends, family, and neighbors. Although maintaining social distance from loved ones is difficult, it is the right thing to do.
It’s springtime, and many of us are getting outside for exercise and fresh air, as permitted in Governor Pritzker’s Stay-At-Home Order. However, this does not mean that we can ignore social distancing. We have heard reports of people congregating in our community, and I’d like to emphasize that we must all take this seriously for the health and safety of ourselves, our children, our families, and our neighbors.
Do not gather in groups of any kind, with the exception of members of the same household. Maintain a safe distance of six feet or more from anyone you come in contact with. Do not use playground equipment or play contact sports. Do not put the lives of others at risk. None of us are immune.
While we’re apart physically, we’re all in this together. Do not congregate – you could be saving someone’s life.
