Get Pumped for Pumpkins:
Starting Wednesday, October 25, feast your eyes on a festive pumpkin display at the Village's Pop-Up Patch (southwest corner of Meadow Road and Cherry Lane).
View an array of beautifully carved and decorated pumpkins from Northbrook community organizations, Village of Northbrook departments, and the Village Board. Pictures will be posted on the Village's Facebook page Tuesday for residents to enjoy and vote on from home. The display will be up through Halloween.
After the Halloween festivities, don't send your pumpkins to the landfill, join us for the Northbrook Pumpkin Smash! Mark your calendars for the Village’s Pumpkin Smash event on Saturday, November 4, anytime between noon-3pm at Northbrook Court’s parking lot (near Neiman Marcus).
Community members can toss pumpkins for composting and learn about the benefits of organic waste recycling.
