Fire Department Responds to House Fire, No Injuries

Around 11 p.m. on Friday, August 1, the Northbrook Fire and Police Departments responded to a house fire in the 1000 block of Whitfield Road in Northbrook. The fire was observed in the carport area of the house and appears to have spread to the structure and the neighboring carport/garage. All occupants were evacuated and there are no reported injuries. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
