The Consolidated General Election will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. This election will include five Village Board offices and three Library Board offices for the Village of Northbrook on the ballot.

Petitions for candidacy for these offices may be filed with the Village Clerk at the Northbrook Village Hall, 1225 Cedar Lane starting at 8:30 a.m. on November 12, 2024 and ending at 5:00 p.m. on November 18, 2024.
The hours for filing petitions for candidacy with the Village Clerk are as follows:
- Tuesday, November 12 – Friday, November 15, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Monday, November 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Illinois State Board of Elections has prepared the Candidate’s Guide for 2025, to provide information for candidates seeking public office. It provides information on the proper completion and filing of nomination papers and lists the qualifications required for candidates seeking specific offices.
