The ever-popular Northbrook Brewfest will return to downtown Northbrook to celebrate craft beer culture in early September.

Hosted by the Northbrook Park District and the Village of Northbrook, the adults-only event will feature beer, vodka and tequila drinks, and non-alcoholic beer, along with live music and food from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 at Village Green Park.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the community back to Brewfest this fall,” said Chris Leiner, Executive Director of the Northbrook Park District. “This event is a wonderful example of our strong partnership with the Village of Northbrook, bringing people together to enjoy great music, and a fantastic selection of brews in beautiful Village Green Park. We can’t wait to see everyone there!”

“Brewfest is pure Northbrook fun… great beer, great music, and great company,” Village President Kathryn Ciesla said. “It’s a perfect chance for friends and neighbors to come together, enjoy the beautiful park setting and our vibrant downtown.”

Live entertainment will be provided by The Grady Experience, a multi-genre cover band that blends the best of pop, rock, R&B, soul, jazz, blues and beyond. 

Attendees can purchase food from Landmark Inn Bar & Grille, which will serve sliders and bratwurst with beer-braised onions at Village Green Park. People are also welcome to bring a picnic dinner. 

Just like last year, Northbrook Brewfest’s beer selection will be provided by Joseph Mullarkey Distributors, based in Glenview. An exciting addition this year is Yuengling, the oldest brewery in America, which became available in Illinois for the first time in early 2025, General Manager Anthony Mullarkey said.

“Northbrook Brewfest is an overall great event,” he said. “We get a chance to showcase our offerings to 300 to 400 people. Hopefully they will find new favorite beverages and go purchase them at local grocery and liquor stores following the event.”

Residents who attended last year’s Northbrook Brewfest said they especially enjoyed the wide variety of beer selection, and will be back this year. 

“Brewfest was a lot of fun,” said Tracey Becker, who attended with her husband David. “We really loved the city street fest atmosphere in our backyard. We got lucky with the weather, and we loved finding friends throughout the park and trying all the different beers available.”

Ted Agne attended with his wife, Julie, their daughter and her boyfriend, along with neighbors. “We met up with friends and made new ones too,” he said. “The event is so much fun!  We enjoy getting out to the park to try the new beers and cocktail drinks with friends.”

Advance tickets are $49 for tasting tickets (includes 15 tastings of 5 ounces and event swag) and $30 for non-tasting tickets (includes access to event only). Prices will increase on the day of the event.

Tickets can be purchased at nbparks.org/event/brewfest. The event is for adults 21 years and older only; infants, children and dogs are not allowed to attend. No outside beverages are permitted.
