NOTICE OF PLAN COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Northbrook Plan Commission on TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2026, AT 7:30 p.m., in the Board Room of the Village Hall. This hearing is for the purpose of considering the following:
DOCKET NO. PCD-25-19
755 – 761 PFINGSTEN ROAD AND 2720 – 2780 DUNDEE ROAD – DAYCARE
Application by S2 Partners LLC (the “Applicant”) as lessee of a portion of the property (Unit #9) commonly known as Dunbrook Center located at 755 – 761 Pfingsten Road and 2720 – 2780 Dundee Road (collectively the “Subject Property”), which is owned by Shiner Dunbrook LLC (the “Owner”), for the purposes of:
- Special Permit for Day Care in the C-2 Neighborhood Commercial District; and
- Approval of any such variations, waivers, and zoning relief as may be necessary to accomplish development and use of the Subject Property as requested by the Applicant
The Subject Property, which is located at the northeast corner of Dundee Road and Pfingsten Road and is zoned C-2 Neighborhood Commercial District (Real Estate Index Number 04-04-302-047-0000; 04-04-302-049-0000; 04-04-302-050-0000; 04-04-302-052-0000). The Applicant proposes to occupy a tenant space within the shopping center and operate a child daycare facility with outdoor playground on the Subject Property.
The agenda and materials for this meeting will be posted no later than the end of the business day on Friday, January 16, 2026, on the Village website. The website will include the meeting Agenda and the Agenda Packet, which includes the Applicant’s application, plan set, and other documents submitted by the Applicant.
