Street/Forestry/Lights/Traffic Crew
Our Street, Forestry, Lighting, and Traffic crew is one of the most versatile crews in Public Works – and they’re everywhere! From keeping our roads smooth and sidewalks safe, to maintaining streetlights and traffic signals, trimming trees, repairing sidewalks and roads – they do it all. This crew works around the clock to keep Northbrook safe, connected, and looking great.
Fleet Services Crew
Our Fleet Services Crew maintains and repairs the Village’s entire vehicle fleet, including police squads, fire engines, snowplows, public works vehicles, and more. They’re the team that keeps the wheels turning – literally! By ensuring every vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready for action, this crew plays a vital role in helping all Village departments serve the community every day. From routine maintenance to emergency repairs, they keep Northbrook running smoothly and safely!
The Department hosted a staff appreciation BBQ on Wednesday, May 21. This annual event honors the dedication and hard work of Public Works employees and recognizes the collaboration between departments.
