NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Northbrook Board of Trustees on TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2026 AT 7:30 p.m., in the Board Room of the Village Hall. This hearing is for the purpose of considering the following:

3323 WALTERS AVENUE – NORTHBROOK COMMUNITY CENTER
NORTHBROOK PARK DISTRICT
Application by Northbrook Park District (the “Applicant”) as owner of the property commonly known as 3323 Walters Avenue (the “Subject Property”), for the purposes of:
- Special Permit for an electronic message board sign in IB District; and
- Approval of any other such variations, waivers, and zoning relief as may be necessary to accomplish development and use of the Subject Property as requested by the Applicant.
The Subject Property, which is located on the south side of Walters Avenue, west of Hemlock Knoll Terrace; is zoned IB Institutional Building District (Real Estate Index Numbers 04-08-303-006-0000; 04-08-303-034-0000; and 04-08-303-038-0000). The Applicant is requesting approval to allow a special permit for an electronic message board sign adjacent to a residential district on the Subject Property.
The agenda and materials for this meeting will be posted no later than the end of the business day on Friday, January 9, 2026 on the Village website. The website will include the meeting Agenda and the Agenda Packet, which includes the Petitioner’s application, plan set, and other documents submitted by the Petitioner.
