Meeting Highlights of action taken include:
- Presented a Key to the Village to resident Sharon Gail
- The Board adopted the following Proclamations recognizing:
- May 18 - 24 as Public Works Week
- June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month
- June 1 - 7 as National Garden Week
- June 6 as National Gun Violence Awareness Day
- June 8 as Race Amity Day
- An Ordinance was approved to proceed with issuing $25,500,000 General Obligation Bonds for funding various capital projects, including but not limited to, the purchase of a new ambulance, fire engine, fuel island, water main projects, and partial engineering/construction costs related to a new Public Works Fleet Maintenance Garage and a new Fire Station 11.
- Approved the purchase of approximately 280 LED streetlighting fixtures which will be of the same style and type as those currently used throughout the Village and reduce electrical use as called for in the Village's Climate Action Plan.
- Approved Annual Membership in the Northeastern Illinois Regional Crime Lab which is a regional consortium of law enforcement agencies that provides forensic services and resources.
- Authorized the replacement of three front-line response Police Department vehicles of Police Department Replacement and the related disposal of surplus vehicles.
- Approved a successor Three-Year Collective Bargaining Agreement with Local 1894 International Association of Firefighters.
- Amended the Northbrook Municipal Code to streamline regulations and licensing procedures for Outdoor Dining at restaurants.
- Approved a Special Permit Little Mountain Gymnastics LLC which is a children's gymnastics facility to be located in the Dunbrook Shopping Center at 2724-2726 Dundee Road.
- Approved revisions to the Residential Planned Development generally knowns as Gateway Townhomes - 1171-1189 Shermer for Lexington Homes LLC as recommended by the Plan Commission.
- Preliminary Review was presented for development a Rivian electric vehicle sales and service facility at 1804-1818 Skokie Boulevard. The Preliminary Review by the Village Board is a conceptual review for the Village Board to provide non-binding comments on a proposal prior to the applicant submitting to the Village a detailed application.
- Approved continued participation in the Chicago's North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Application to the State of Illinois Local Tourism and Convention Bureau (LTCB) grant program following a presentation about the services.

Regular Village Board meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Agenda materials are posted the prior Friday by close of business on the Village Meeting Archive Portal.
