Highlights of action taken include:
- The Board adopted the following Proclamations recognizing:
- August 2025 as Northbrook Symphony Orchestra Family Music Month
- August 5, 2025 as National Night Out
- Approved the treatment of 36 parkway trees to prevent Dutch Elm Disease which are administered annually to preserve healthy trees and prevent further spread of Dutch Elm Disease.
- Approved asphalt crack sealing services for the following streets that require crack sealing: Happ Road, Raintree Lane, Sunburst Lane, Snowbird Lane, Terri-Lyn Lane, Ridgeland Lane, Lori-Lyn Lane, Juli-Lyn Lane, Juli-Lyn Court, Daniel Court, and Walters Avenue.
- Approved contractual services for review and inspection services for food establishments.
- Reviewed the process for public review and future Village Board consideration of the 2024 International Code Council (ICC) and 2023 National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes later this year.

Future Meetings
Regular Village Board meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Agenda materials are posted the prior Friday by close of business on the Village Meeting Archive Portal.
