Project Description
The Village of Northbrook proactively reviews the condition of its streets on a regular basis to identify problems and appropriate measures to correct them. This project involves resurfacing Founders Drive (from Kamp to Willow), Longmeadow Road (northern terminus to Lee) and Peeblebrook Road (both segments).Please note: A second phase of asphalt resurfacing will be completed as part of the Willow Creek project. Details on that section will be included on that project page.
Enabling Resolution
On Tuesday, April 27, the Village Board approved Resolution 2021-70, which awarded this contract to Builders Paving. Project Notices

Friday, July 9
This week, the Village's contractor completed paving on Founders, Longmeadow and Pebblebrook and plans to complete pavement markings next week week.
Friday, June 25
Next week, the Village's contractor anticipates beginning paving work. Paving will begin on Founders Drive. Paving for Peeblebrook and Longmeadow will be announced next week as information becomes available.
Friday, June 18
Next week, the Village's contractor will grind each of the three streets included in Phase I work. Base patching will follow with paving beginning the following week.
Friday, June 11
This week, the Village's contractor completed all necessary pre-paving concrete work on Peeblebrook and Founders. Next week, the contractor plans to begin paving work.
Friday, June 4
The Village has received notice that the contractor will begin saw cutting, curb removal and replacement of Peeblebrook and Founders neek week.
Friday, May 28 - Work to begin on Peeblebrook and Founders Next Week
The Village has received notice from its contractor that preliminary work is scheduled to begin on Peeblebrook and Founders next week. This will include traffic control signage installation. Crews may also begin cutting curb by the end of the week.
April 27, 2021 - Contract Awarded
On Tuesday, April 27, the Village Board approved Resolution 2021-70, which awarded this contract to Builders Paving. Construction is anticipated to begin in June.
