This application applies towards free-standing sheds (not attached to the residence).
Prefabricated sheds that do not exceed 80 square feet in area do not require a permit. However, make sure that the shed location meets with applicable Zoning Requirements.

Application Fees & Deposits
- Building Construction and Inspection Fee - $70 minimum (dependent upon the size of shed and scope of work)
- Permit Application Deposit - $60 (Due at time of permit submission)
Drawing Requirements (To Be Submitted With Permit Application)
- For prefabricated sheds:
- Manufacturer’s specifications (indicating size, height and materials of construction) - 2 copies
- Plat of Survey (indicate shed location with dimensions to property lines) - 3 copies
- For custom designed sheds:
- Construction Drawings - 2 sets
- Civil Drawings (if greater than 400 sq. ft. net increase in impervious surface) - 3 sets
- Site Plan (not required if location is marked on the Plat of Survey) - 3 sets
- Plat of Survey - 3 copies
Required Inspections
- Electrical Rough-In (If applicable)
- Final Inspection (If pre-fab, manufacturer's specifications must be available; attachment to ground will be inspected)
- Foundation/Pier Excavation (Pre-pour) (If applicable)
- Framing/Structural
